Rukasu
Hi. My name is Rukasu. I was born in 1981 in Argentina.
I´m a manga / comic artist who is fighting to make a living of this. I want to become a professional comic artist.
I´ve studied 3 years of English Translation and 2 years of Art at University. Right now, I´m teaching English and giving Drawing lessons. I´m also started studiyng Japanese language a year ago.
As a child, I grew up watching cartoons such as He-Man & The Masters Of The Universe, Transformers, SilverHawks, Thundercats, The Centurions, and anime like Mazinger Z, Space Adventure Cobra and Robotech (Macross).
I used to draw all day during my childhood, having only myself as a teacher.
I used to read DC and Marvel titles but I was more hooked watching cartoons. But everything change in 1996 when I got in touch with Japanese comics (Manga).
I´ve found an unexplored field that amazed me and became one of my biggest influence on my art style.
Authors like Masamune Shirow, Go Nagai, Hirohiko Araki, Takehiko Inoue, Hiroaki Samura, Buichi Terasawa and many others have showed me another view on how to create comic sequences and panels.

Besides manga and anime, I´m a big fan of 80s and 90s arcade videogames. Not only for the gameplay, but also for the artwork.
Game artwork has always been a great influence on my art too, especially old artists such as Nishimura Kinu, Akiman and Shoei from Capcom.
Right now, I´m working with White Eye on Gods & Guns, Top Sekret, and Lady Knights. I´m in charge of pencils and inks.
Outside White Eye I´m working on a title of my own called “Infura Warudo” (Infra-World). I´m doing the whole work : writing - penciling - inking - lettering - coloring.
My favourite animals are cats and rabbits. I´ve three kittens who are always running through my studio all the time 
What I like most? Hard to say, I like lots of things Here are some of them : comics - manga - anime - movies - Japanese culture - sci fi - music - technology - videogames - open-minded people
What I don´t like? shojo manga - narrow-minded people
Another big influence for me are movies. Japanese comics are extremley cinematographical.

- Black : elegance
- White : purity - order - silence - future - peace
