Date of birth: 18-mar-1979Location: Montevideo, Uruguay
Favourite comics: BattleChasers, Spawn
What you are working on/have worked on for White Eye Productions: The Vibrant Ones, Denizen pin-ups
What you are working on/have worked on for other publishers: I’m new
in the business. I coloured a webcomic chapter from Uggabugga.net, a comic from Orang Utan Comics called “Young Gods” and I did a lot of flats for colourist that worked for Image, Bloodrayne, DC.
How did you get into working on comics: The first comic that I read
was Spawn. Then, I fall in love with the McFarlane and
Capullo drawings. But, in Uruguay the comic market isn’t good and I
had to left this passion until now. Just 2 years ago I received
Photoshop and I joined to a lot of comic forums and artist pages
(digitalwebbing, penciljack, deviantart, etc). After that, looking
jobs from LIQUIDOLOGY!!, Marte García! EraserX! and other really good
colorist, my mind exploded. I wanted to be a colorist!! Then, I
started to paint linearts that I found in the net, I read color
theory, books like The DC Comics Guide to Coloring and Lettering (it’s
wonderful), and I studied every work of the colorists I like.
Colouring comics is an amazing experience.
