Fabrizio
I was born in Rome, the 25th of July, during the hottest summer in the century.
For some reason, since I was a kid, I always liked art, museums, and most of all comics!
During WW2, my father, a little kid himself, used to collect comics. So I grew up with the same stuff: Tarzan, Flash Gordon, and such!
But then when I was 9, I saw a Spiderman comic! What a change!
I immediately fell in love with superheroes, and I am still so much there!!!!
After a while, it came to me that if I studied art and practiced every day, I would be able to draw like that in the comic book.
In high school, I started reading comic book from Argentina, France and other countries. After the movie Alien came out, I became interested in sci-fi illustration and in the world of fantasy.
I then went on to University, obtaining a PH.D. in History and Philosophy. While in the military service, I started again to read comics and took up drawing again. I guess I had too much free time!
In 1994, thanks to my wife, we moved to Costa Rica and then to Panama.
This changed me forever.
I published the first superhero comic strip in a Panamanian newspaper, and in the 1994 I won the L. F. HUBBARD’S ILLUSTRATORS OF THE FUTURE CONTEST.
Since then I published a lot of web comics, and a lot of illustrations.
The best thing is, I am still learning!
